Wat'chee attracts skilled, diehard photographers with nice attitudes (no whiners); and it's a fantastic place for exchanging travel information, making new International associates, and seeing Northern lights. It is estimated that solely 500 or so folks on the planet have had the chance to see mothers with newborn cubs within the wild, so finding/watching them is pretty unbelievable. I need to stress that constructing a polar bear portfolio must be a multi-12 months dedication as the proper expedition clothes (base/mid layers, parka/bibbs, Pac boots, gloves/mitts, and so on.) is dear aka >$2,000, you want a sturdy tripod/gimbal, the learning curve is steep, and there are up/down years.
